Each year, First Nations are required to provide notice of their proposed annual tax rates before the Annual Rates Laws/By-laws are submitted to the First Nations Tax Commission.
Notice can be given by using the First Nations Gazette website, the First Nation's website, holding a public meeting, or by using some other prescribed form of notification.
